THE GRIFFIN CABIN VS CURRENT MARKET UNITS

The Griffin Cabin incorporates significant improvements over current systems. From a lower single lifting point, lighter weight, tougher construction through design and materials, to utilising a zero-spillage removable waste tank for easy service giving simpler logistics.

Griffin Cabin unit

  • Cabin is 100% leak proof in the event of a knockdown - an industry 1st
  • No possibility of waste backflow once flushed
  • 100% leak proof removable waste tank is housed and serviced at the rear of the cabin via a door completely sealed from the interior
  • Zero fume from the tank to the cabin
  • User has a much more pleasant experience with a flushing porcelain bowl as would be expected on a luxury yacht
  • Cabin can remain on site with just the waste tank exchanged for service

Traditional units

  • Made from thin thermoformed plastic panels pop riveted together encased in an aluminium frame to give strength for lifting
  • Heavy, corrosion vulnerable, brittle aluminium lifting frame with multiple welds that fall under DNV regulations
  • Cannot take impacts well and requires regular NDT
  • Assembled over a standard building site portaloo with flimsy blow moulded panels using a non-DIN 16194 compliant drop tank

THE GRIFFIN CABIN VS TRADITIONAL UNIT

Indefinite life of HDPE material makes the Griffin cabin a one-off investment, all internal components are serviceable and replaceable.
